Meeting For The First Time (Blazing Inferno)

"I don't know."I shrug my shoulders."Tell me about yourself."

I look back to him and say,"Okay. Ummm, I love the outdoors, love to swim, love to sing and dance, I love archery. That's basically it. What about you?"

"Well,I love sports.And I love swordfighting,archery,and I love watching the sun set.I know,kinda girly but I like it."I look at her."That's about it."

I look to him."I dont think its girly." I turn my head back to the water and sun rise and start to hum my favorite song. But I stop as soon as I start.

I hear her start to hum a song,but then she stops."What's wrong,"I ask her.

"Nothing," I say."I just... i have never really sung infront of anyone before." I look down at my feet.

"I bet your really good."I look at her again.I reach out my hand to put on her shoulder,but I quickly snatch it back.

He rest his hand on my shoulder, but as quickly as he put it there, he pulls it away. I look over to him and say," Are you okay?"

"I....I don't know."I close my eyes.I run my hand through my hair."I'm afraid of getting atatched to you."

I look to him."Why should you be afraid of getting atatched to me?" I look back to the water and breath. I then start to sing:

If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

I stop though, to afraid of going on.

"I....I'm afraid that you will hurt me like.....like the person I told you I met on the run.And you are a good singer."I look at her."You really are."

I turn my gaze back to him."I would never hurt you. Your to nice. And thanks, but i'm not that good." I look back to the sun rise, then I look to the water to see the most perfect reflection of it in the water. Then, again, start to draw in the wet sand.

"Thanks.What'cha drawing,"I ask her.

I point and say,"The sun rise. I love to draw it, but it always washes away so I cant really keep it. I wish I had at least a pencil and peice of paper to draw it on so then I could have one drawing I am able to keep."

I look at the drawing."You know,you have serious talent,"I say,smiling at her.

I look up at him."You think so?" I look back down for just a few seconds, then look back to Dylan."If you think this is my best talent, think again. I am way better at archery and hand to hand combat." I put my head back down and finish the drawing."There, done."

"Yeah,I do.And I bet you aren't better than me at hand-to-hand combat,"I smirked.

I looked at him."Oh really? Then why dont we find out."

"Let's,"I say.I stand up and get in a fighting stance."Any day now,"I say with a smile.

I give him a smile. I get on my feet and do 3 back handsprings. I come up into a fighting position."Ready," I ask him.

"Whoah,that was pretty cool."I run to her.Right before I run into her,I do a twist flip over her."But not as cool as that,"I say.

As he is destracted from explaining that a twist flip over me is cooler than doing 3 back handsprings, I do a illusion( a one foot, no hand cartwheel). I end up standing right in front of him."You ready to fight or what?"

I try not to notice how close she is to me."Well,or we could do something else,"I say,smiling,wiggling my eyebrows.

I start laughing so hard that I fall to the ground."Come on, lets just fight," I say while I stand up, still laughing a bit.

I shrug my shoulders."If you want to."I launch myself into a kick.
